I'm an Over The Road Truck Driver. My Canon A-1 has traveled many miles on the passenger seat of my truck. If it has wheels I'll shoot it. If it looks interesting I'll shoot it. If I have 5 minutes to kill I'll shoot something. I really like shooting night scenes of the highway or in the truckstops. The company I drive for has bought numerous images from me and used them for advertising in trade magazines, trucking shows, and on the internet.

Over the years I've shot Weddings and Portraits. Then one day shooting weddings was no longer Fun. So I no longer shoot weddings. Though I still do the occasional portrait or two. But, for the most part, I shoot strictly for my own enjoyment.

I still shoot strictly film. Most of my equipment is Canon FD stuff. (Original F-1, New F-1, couple of A-1's).

A Bronica ETRsi fills me need for medium format for now. Though I'd like to get a Yashica 635 or a Mamiya C330 just to play in the TLR world.

My only concession to the digital age is a small Sony Digital P&S. I know I'll end up being all digital someday. But for now, I'm being dragged into the 'Digital Age' kicking and screaming.

I'm currently trying to sort through about 20+ years worth of slides, trying to find the 'best of the best' to scan. Currently using a PrimeFilm 1800U and Epson Perfection 1650 for scanning the 35mm stuff. Still trying to figure out how to scan the medium format stuff.

If I'm going to live to be 100 years old, then at 50 I just reached middle age.

I'm Male and Happily Married for 30+ Years.
