Hi, I'm Sandy. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. I came to Flickr as a means to an end and it turned out to be a beginning.

I've dabbled in photography most of my adult life but becoming a Flickr member and taking advantage of its capabilities make me want to be a better photographer. And how nice it is to have the ability to admire and be inspired by so much talent.

The unexpected treat for me is making connections with people who have shared interests. I wouldn't have guessed I could get advice about training my adolescent pups! I'm also loving connecting with folks in Arizona. We just bought a condo in Sun City and plan on retiring there in 4-5 years. In the meantime, we'll be visiting often. We are birders and nature lovers and look forward to increasing our photographic abilities. We also are dog lovers, especially our Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Cooper and our black Goldendoodle, Ruby.

I should add that my photos should not be used outside of Flickr without my permission. Also, I welcome constructive criticism of my work because I really do want to learn.
