Hello the names Ryan currently I'm 18 and I have just started my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology. For myself photography is a huge hobby along side vintage electronics and Mac's.

I first started taking an interest in photography when I got a Polaroid Joycam for my 8th Birthday back in 2001. Although at that time I really had no knowledge and just snapped pictures of anything.

In 2003 I went digital getting a 3.2MP Canon Powershot A300 and during a trip to Windsor and a Holiday to Majorca my photography interest flourished a little bit more. In 2008 due to the Canon being vastly inadequate I bought a Samsung S1050 for our holiday to Turkey.

Then in January 2010 after having some left over xmas money from buying my MacBook Pro I bought my first DSLR an olympus E420. I also began collecting older film cameras and older photographic equipment including several Film SLR's, developing equipment extra lenses and some, film movie cameras and a developing tank. I think old cameras are like a piece of artwork, beautifully made unlike everything today whats plastic.

I also enjoy film photography and believe digital just cant match the quality and effect what film produces.

I spent a lot of my free time studying at the moment, but I do also often take walks armed with my DSLR or iPhone 4S just to in case something crops up along the way which I feel would be make an awesome shot.
