Marc Macalua is a specialist in search engine optimization, paid search advertising, affiliate marketing, email marketing, ecommerce strategy and search engine marketing training. Marc works with analysts and engineers to help ensure that organic and paid search strategies remain both aligned and on the cutting edge. He is the Founder of SEO Philippines, a 500-member strong trade organization for search engine marketers in the Philippines and is a regular speaker at international conferences like Search Engine Strategies. He's also currently VP for Marketing for a NASDAQ-listed e-commerce network, managing the operations of its 120-strong Internet marketing department.

Marc has worked in search engine marketing since 2004, starting in-house and moving into a consulting role in 2006, handling accounts for organizations ranging in size from small businesses to Fortune 500. Marc is experienced in performing "hands-on" SEO from keyword research to content development and linking strategies, as well as pay-per-click (PPC) campaign creation and management. He is a certified Google AdWords Professional and is also an experienced Yahoo! Search Marketing and MSN AdCenter consultant.
