I am lucky, in that my lifelong passion for wildlife and wild places has led to a career in wildlife biology and conservation. While my interests are broad, the majority of my work has been focused on the evolutionary biology, ecology, and conservation of birds. For the past several years photography has gone hand in hand with my travels. While I enjoy photographing well known landmarks and charismatic animal species, I am just as content capturing scenes of intimate locations and creatures seldom seen.
