I've always loved photography, but now photography has become my number one pastime and I almost always have my camera with me. I'm an amateur but learning as I go and having fun experimenting with different post processing techniques. My son Michael has been the photographer in the family, and introduced me to flickr. I have met many wonderful and talented people through flickr and I am enjoying being a part of it. I upgraded to a Nikon D90 after my D-40 started giving me problems. I still use my little Canon PowerShot point-n-shoot and now even my iPhone as well.
I live in Northern Wisconsin with my husband and our Maltipoo Otto. I am Mom to two and Grandma to two beautiful granddaughters, Ava and Olivia. I am an RN by profession working in county government.
Please know that if you are adding me as a contact just to increase your number of contacts, then I am probably not a good contact for you. I will look at your profile and photostream before adding you as a contact. I do look at all my contacts photos on a regular basis and leave comments. I expect the same in return.
