I've been into photography since the start of 2009 when I got a Canon 40D. My photostream has photos older than this but they are generally just simple snaps taken with various cameraphones. I'm enjoying learning how to use the 40D properly, picking up basic photography theory and exploring creative technique.
I don't have a particular favourite style yet - I generally go for a walk and see what I can find to shoot. I'm interested in nature photography, be it plants, wildlife or landscapes. Urban landscapes too. I am quite curious about macro photography but since I don't have a dedicated macro lens I haven't experimented with it a great deal.
