I am a Louisville based artist, keeping myself very busy creating with metal, fiber, paint, light and whatever I can find.

My dad first put a SLR in my hands when I was 8. Ive been a film junkie ever since. Honestly, I've tried for a multitude of reasons to switch to digital. But it lacks soul. All 35mm photography (the non squares) is shot with a Canon EOS 1000F (my dad's camera before he switched to digital!... the one he first let me use), most medium format photography is shot with a Holga... I think I'm on my 6th Holga in my almost 10 years of shooting with one. I recently picked up a Diana as well. Negatives are scanned using a flatbed negative scanner... it really is a crappy piece of machinery. Excuse the excessive dust, scratches, and random lines across photos. The charm it adds only goes so far....

As far as jewelry goes, chainmaille was my introduction to working with metal. After attending training school for 6 months in late 2008, my designs began to incorporate more unique, hand designed cast pieces. I always thought I would grow old to be a tough old lady that made maille instead of sitting around knitting. Alas, I have a nack for tiny tedious things, and also knit now.
... and this is how I keep myself busy.
