Luke in China's photostream

My name's Luke Richardson. I'm 28 years old. I was born in Dublin, Ireland, grew up in Calgary, Canada, and now live in Shanghai, China.

On various internet forums I go by the nickname 'The Chemist' as I used to work in the chemistry field, although now I teach science (physics and chemistry) at an international school (Jin Cai High School International Division) in Shanghai.

I shoot with an Olympus E-500 that I've owned for 3 .5 years. It's the best camera I've ever owned. I only own one lens (a ZD 18-180 f3.5-6.3) which, while not perfect, has a great range and enables me to take all kinds of pictures.

My favourite kinds of pictures are of cities, vehicles, animals, and nature (mountains, etc) though I occasionally try other types of photography too. I also really enjoy taking panoramic photographs, as they allow a better sense of actually 'being there'. :)
