  "Katie has inspired me from the moment i stumbled into her magical world here. the words that she matches some of her photographs with are so perfect. if you even needed the evidence of her humongo level of intelligence, look no further than her handle on prose. another in the group of moms that makes me want to be the best parent ever, having seen evidence of the love that she shares with her child. her ideas behind the artform of the diptych stand as some of the best i have seen. i thrive to be able to capture the world in a way even half as pleasing and real as Katie does. seeing what amazing photos she has taken of herself, it makes me anxious to see her shoot some other people and work her magic touch that way as well some day.

You see, Kate is one of Flickr's treasures. In a few tiny centimetres of online space, she can bring tears to your eyes, or make you think about what is really important or simply make you smile. She is a poet and an artist and an intensely spiritual human being who has the ability to touch the lives of others in profound ways.
