I am an illustrator, animator and writer born in Italy and living in Portland, Oregon.

I draw and paint on paper, and then cut out the figures and glue them on discarded book covers. My cut-outs are often so small that I need tweezers to move them and a lens to see them: minuscule teeth, nails, eyelids, drops of blood or sweat, tongues, wings, leaves.

My cut-outs become animated films too, which have more in common with the puppet theater than with traditional animation.
