Although I have now been taking photographs for around 50 years, it is only since taking up digital photography, and particularly since retiring from full time work that it has become an obsession.
I use mostly a Canon SX20IS - the superzoom and supermacro facilities make it a great do-anything camera, and I have a small waterproof Olympus 3000 for the more interesting locations. I recently added a Raynox DCR-250 macro lens so I'm taking more macro shots, getting even closer.
I take mostly nature, especially in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney, where I live.
