I've been involved in photography since the 1960s. Have owned a variety of cameras. The ones that stand out are Olympus Pen, OM1, a variety of Nikons (F2, F3, FM, FE), F100, Nikon Digital (D40 and D70s). I've owned randefinder cameras but gave them up. Could not get used to them after usings SLRs. Now I'm back trying them again. Currently using Zorky4, Fed-2, Canonet QL17, Leica M3 (being CLAd). The results are not good yet. I have eyesight problems and can hardly see the rangefinder spot. If I don't succeed this time around, they'll go on eBay, where they came from!

I am also trying medium format. Bought a used Rolleiflex. The first roll results were bad! Every frame was out of focus. Have to send for CLA!

The Rolleiflex is back from a complete overhaul. It works very well now.

About contacts: I'm using contacts as a way of having quick access to the photo stream of photographers whose work is of current interest. Don't feel that you have to reciprocate as I'm not very active yet.

Most of my postings are of 1970s scans. It will take a while to build the stream. Regards and enjoy photography.
