Lexie Porter-Brown,
Born in 1989 in to an artistic family.
Lexie's Interest in photography started at an early age when her mother encouriged her to photograph, paint and draw things she liked.
After loosing her mother and dropping out of high-school aged 15 Lexie started a basic art course at college.
Lexie then went on to complete Two art courses and a National Diploma in Photography with high grades resulting in her becoming the face of Northampton college for their National Diploma in Photography.

Lexie previously worked for an online webzine called Alternative Vision photographing live bands combineing her passion for music and photography which is something she is self taught in.

Lexie like to push the boundaries with her work challenging societies views on things they aren't comfortable with.
She has the ability to take somethig dark, uppseting and traumatic and turn it in to something beautiful and emotionaly insightfull.

Lexie has strong opinions on the way society portrays women making them feel like they need to fit a certain stereotype
she likes to show women of all shapes sizes and race that they are naturally beautiful and don't need to adhere to the pressures and stigmatism of society and the need to fit a certain stereotypical criteria.

For lexie photography is not an ocupation its a passion a way of life and a way for her to change the world.
