My name means 'good girl' in Japanese and I became like that name as my parents wished when they had their first child...:-p

I'm not a proffesional photographer,I just want to take photos when I encounter people, things which I feel "Oh,I really like it!".
And I really want people around the world to know and understand what Japanese culture is,through my photos, cause I really love.

I've been learning 'Cha-No-Yu' which is translated 'tea ceremony' in English, sometimes.
Actually,it's not appropriate translation.
We have tea serving ceremonies in shrines and temples sometimes. However, this is not ordinary.
Chanoyu is common word including tea ceremonies, lessons and tea parties. So I'll use this term instead of 'tea ceremony' .

I'm obsessed Japanese ethnic costume,Kimono.
I wear those many times by myself.
Hopefully you enjoy my photos here.
Thanks!

"Ryoko is amazing, the way she spends her own time to document all the latest events to bring to flickrites who wish to see and know all from a uniquely Japanese perspective. I hope all will enjoy her adventures for a long time to come :-)"
