I am an amateur/hobbyist photographer who likes to take pictures of my surroundings. I love abstract photography, but find my own personal style to be a wide variety of styles.

I have always enjoyed photographs and photography but never really pursued it until my son was born in 2001. At that time, I purchased my first digital camera, a Hewlett Packard 618c.

My next camera was a Kodak DX7630 point and shoot. The Kodak really got me interested in photography as an art and I quickly learned the limitations of a P&S camera. Therefore, I knew I needed to upgrade. After much research and visits to Ritz Camera, I chose to get my first DSLR, a Nikon D50.

The Nikon D50 helped me learn the ins and outs of the technical side of photography. I recently sold my D50 in order to help off set the cost of my new D300.

I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
