About me:
You can usually find me escaping from work thorough photography, reading, jogging, writing, and travel. I found a way to combine three of those by traveling around the state of Connecticut, taking pictures and writing about each town. What I've discovered is that I usually have to visit every town more than once because there is always more beneath the surface.

Cameras:
I often use a Canon EOS 20D but I am also very fond of my iPhone and my new Sony Cybershot. I have been experimenting with a Lensbaby lens. I am also (unsuccessfully) playing with my husband's Holga.

Style:
I don't go in for dramatic photos. I prefer the understated. I'm also not a fan of photoshop. It's only helping people confuse digital art with the art of photography.

Travel:
I have always wanted to visit and photograph all 50 states of the US. To count it, I had to be doing more than driving through (and, of course, airports don't count).
