After being mentioned in the blog of Phil Coomes (BBC Picture Editor and Photographer), we have had a fantastic response. Many thanks to Phil and all those who have contributed

---------------------------------------------
This is a Flickr based project to help identify places/people from old 35mm slides.
All the uploaded images have come from slides that I have either found covered in dust in antique shops or have being thrown out in some other way.
My aim is to get the places and people identified. In the hope that I find a relative of a person in one of the photos, in which case I will then gladly hand them back their family history.
As they are also a part of history I would like to get names for all the places featured. Who knows, some of them may no longer exist.
