Born and raised in Manchester. Have lived, studied and travelled in many places away from the city. however this amazing city has drawn me back to settle close to my roots. The city is an amazing place, art, music, culture, uniqueness hit you on every corner. The place has produced so much in its long and diverse history and I am proud to be here as it continues to shine. Having travelled many places and spoken to many people, I have come to realise the importance the city has internationally for many many reasons, especially for artistic creation in modern times. The city has always, and hopefully always will inovate and sit within the avantguarde. I do not claim to be anything special in terms of photography, but I am part of the city and hope the photos I take of the place show some aspect of the greatness of Manchester (the whole is greater than the sum of its parts). Manchester's beauty is not so tangible as somewhere like Paris .... Manchester's beauty is in what it's people have created and continue to create.

Most of my photos will be Manchester based, but I will add other stuff too. I do not see this as a portfolio but merely a creative space for me to work on a passtime I am passionate about. I enjoy the inspiration other Flickr users provide me and hope I may inspire some too.
