About my work:
Some find their fashion aesthetic in the malls of America, others in flea markets or obscure on-line shopping categories, Lorimarsha is yet another alternative. Many of the garments you see on my flickr photostream are available in my Etsy store. If you are interested in something and have a question, don't hesitate to flickr mail me or convo me from Etsy.
I've been designing handbags and jewelry for about ten years and a couple of years ago, added recycled and redesigned clothing to the mix. I have been fortunate to sell my work in a variety of venues from a funky shop on Olvera Street in LA to The Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery in Washington DC. In the Fall of 2009, I will be a featured artist in the book "Creative Time and Space" by Rice Freeman-Zachery. My handbags have been featured on the cover of The Craft Report magazine and in the book "Hip Handbags. And I was lucky to be the featured designer in the Spring 2008 issue of Belle Armoire magazine. " I'm proud of those accomplishments but my true joy comes in making an individual person happy to have stumbled across my work.
