I clearly use Flickr as storage for all my photos. While there certainly are gems here and there, anyone viewing my stream will certainly have to wade through a whole lot of junk, experiments and mistakes to find the good ones. Annoying perhaps, and certainly not good for showing off things, but great as a backup source for all my photos.

I'm definitely no artist, though if I did narrow things down to only the good ones, I would seem a lot better. But who even looks here? I think sometimes that digital photography is the bane of photographic art. It allows hacks like me to take a zillion pictures without having to think and compose more carefully. It means I take multiple shots of the same things and random shots of dumb things with impunity; it costs me nothing. It costs you, dear reader, if you are silly enough to try to wade through. Apologies in advance.
