I don't want to just take pictures, I want to produce art.
For me, photography is more than just a hobby. It is my therapy, its what keeps me stable. Its the one constant in my ever-changing existance. It is my life. And no matter what happens, no one can take this away from me. Its my inalienable love.

"Loren didn't know the first thing about animals when she came into my pet store looking for a new pet. She asked politely if we had any saber-tooth tigers since she was bored of photographing the regular cat, dog, turtle, tigers. I kindly informed her that they have been extinct for upwards of 3 million years and she might try her luck with something less exotic. Perhaps a variety of photos with her on her bed expressing different emotions. She walked out and that was 34 years ago. Only now I see she has matured into a brilliant photographer with a pure heart, wonderful soul and a knack for self portraits. And with the advances in science and DNA replication, perhaps shots of saber tooth tigers aren't far off either."

Well she does great self portraits in her 365 project, possibly the best I have seen on Flickr. She is a good nature photographer, excellent at flowers etc. She uses Picnik to edit her photos (I know... :P) An all round great, funny and nice person. Keep up the excellent work! :D"
