A keen amateur photographer armed with a gripped Sony Alpha A700 DSLR and a useful selection of lenses and flash.

I live in Dorset, UK, a lovely county with great photographic opportunities. Mainly interested in wildlife but will have a go at almost anything that takes my eye. My main interest is in insect macro photography, especially Damselflies and Dragonflies, I find it's a great challenge trying to get as close as you can to them without disturbance and hopefully 'nailing' the shot.

Now over my half century, married for 27 yrs with 2 kids, Kari 19 & Jake 17

I'm a carer for my wife who is disabled and is now on her second kidney transplant, having renal bone disease make life a bit of a pain sometimes for her.
Comments & Critisism always welcome.

## UPDATE##
My trusty old Sony Alpha A700 has died with aperture motor failure, it has served me well and probably has around 80,000 shutter activations.

My good friend Dennis has kindly lent me his back-up camera, a Canon eos 550D with a Sigma 150-500 zoom lens which will see me through until I can raise some funds for a s/h A700 body.
