Im Laura, im 26 and a keen amateur photographer. I have always had a mild interest in photography which snowballed when I inherited a Canon 300D from my Father-In-Law back in January (he bought a 40D hurrumph!!).
In June I acquired a Canon 450D, joined Flickr and have been a Photography obsessive ever since. I am about to embark upon a ten week Open University Course in Photography and am really excited to learn from the bottom up.
At present I have the following equipment:
Canon 450D SLR
18-55mm Lens
55-250mm Zoom Lens
100mm Macro Lens
Tripod and timer
I also use a Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 compact digital when it is not practical for me to lug the Canon around.
In the short amount of time I have been a member of Flickr I have received lots of help and support from other members, and most importantly been really inspired by their work. I am constantly striving to improve and grow both creatively and technically as I would eventually like this hobby to become a career.
