I just don’t know why there are so many paths,

There’s too much freedom for me.

The luxury of being given any choice

Has become my greatest disease.

I live too far from me.

All the thoughts in my head are just make-believe.

I don’t want to stop the dreams.

They’re the only things that make me live.



You never knew that when you look into the mirror,

It’s you you should try and see.



I never knew straight lines could turn so crooked.

Life isn’t a string of dreams.

I never knew I’d have to make so many choices.

The regrets are bigger than me.



They say follow your heart - it’s so easy to do.

Look in your pockets and nothing’s accrued.

Give up desire - nothing’s harder to do.

If you take my dreams you take me too.



I feel like a bridge between

Two shores of reality on a river of dreams.

The flow is feeding me

But the banks are steadily closing in.



I never knew I’d have to merge so many phases

Just to try and live ,, !
