Perhaps what makes photography attractive to me and probably to others as well is that we all realized that life passes by quickly and we wanted to capture and preserve some of those moment. Personally, the feel good aspect isn’t simply clicking on the shutter, but the heighten state of mind prior to that. When I put on a photography hat, seems like my perception becomes more sensitive, eyes seems to open wider, and the mind is more alert. I can feel time slow down. It’s a wonderful and rather addictive feeling.

This photostream is a collection of those moments when I have camera with me.. It is nice share them with other people who also enjoy photography. If you like to add me as contact, and want some correspondent, dropping a few words would be nice.

Thanks for those who visited and took time to leave comments (both critical and encouraging), and bookmarking (favorite) the images. The socializing idea exchanges aspect is an effective mechanism to encourage each other to create and share more. Hope some of these pictures will make you smile :)

Since April 2006, I've been using Olympus E-1 body with 14-54mm Zuiko lens.

About the photos. They are all taken as I travel around and they are all taken with natural or available light. The reason that I don't use flash aside from not having one is I prefer to not use it. Natural light photography is a fun game, limited by the condition that is available. While I like to have full control over my media when I do design work, but in photography I find it more gratifying to play with the surprises that comes with the moment. Preparing and setting lighting equipments up can take the spontaneity out of the experience, not to mention carrying lots of heavy equipments which reduces my mobility.

As long as it isn’t a paid job, I will enjoy photography like it is; a creative visual exercise. Having a camera close gives me a good reason to be alert, to be aware of surrounding elements. Perhaps I will feel inspired by what ever is there, and if the moment speaks, I will shoot. If it doesn't ...and I still shoot....the force shot will usually end up in my digital junk pile.

I have quite a few requests to use the photos, there are also those who just took them and claimed as their own. Unfortunately because of the second scenario, I no longer post large resolution images and had to put in watermark. All the work here indicate ‘all rights reserved’, meaning it may not be copy, reproduced, without written consent from me. In most cases, when you want to use the photos for non-profit & in personal blog, I will be happy to, just make the link back to the image you like. Please let me know where you intend to use it :) If you want to use high resolution images for commercial purpose please contact me for the terms.
