I am a thirty something female in the midst of many life changes, medical issues, and job transitions. My life is chaos right now. Too many things happening at the same time, so I've recently taken much refuge in my camera. I've always loved photography, and enjoy taking shots that might bring some new perspective to others, as well as myself. All I own is a little Polaroid i533 Point and Shoot, for now... but that's not going to stop me from trying, and learning! :) My dream is of owning an Olympus Evolt E-510 Kit with lenses 14-42mm and 40-150mm. A beginner's digital SLR camera. Yes, I am as of late, biased toward digital as it saves me a lot of time and money... But I love film photography as well. I used to own a wonderful film, little Pentax point and shoot, and as a child, I played around a lot with my dad's Polaroid instant cameras, and his Nikon SLR until it died. I loved taking a lot of pictures then, (even though I was about 12 years old), but when the developers asked my dad one day "who took that amazing shot?," I knew then that I just LOVED photography. :)
