So, I purchased a Nikon D40 in October 2008 & joined Flickr a couple weeks later. Although I have enjoyed taking pictures since my first point & shoot camera at age 16, I AM STILL A BEGINNER & STILL HAVE SO MUCH TO LEARN!!

I am a TRUE believer in the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." - so - I appreciate beauty in nature, in the face of an animal, in the giggle of a child, in the motion of water, in the stride of an athlete, in colors, in black&white, and in the simple...

I am: a daughter, an Auntie, a sister, a grand-daughter, a niece, a friend, a co-worker, a dreamer, and a teacher...

I want to make a difference in every life I touch.

I want my life to count. I want to leave a legacy.

I enjoy: quality time with family and friends, teaching, cooking, music, photography, reading, being outside, making a joyful noise, taking walks, watching movies, bodies of water, getting a good buy, and traveling the world to serve God & others
