When Livingston signed a deal with UK label Manta Ray Music in October 2006, they had already been halfway across Europe, touring the UK, Ireland and Greece.

Livingston formed in London where the band's members met for the first time, after immigrating to the capital from Italy, Germany and South Africa. With Phil joining a little later, the band gained their only British member.

Over the course of the next two years the band would spend time recording their debut album in three locations: Steakhouse Studio in Los Angeles, at Sonic Ranch Studios in El Paso, Texas & El Cortijo in the sunny hills of Marbella, Spain.

In the last 12 months Livingston have been touring through the UK, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Austria & Slovakia.

Current tours also include support slots for German chart-toppers Revolverheld and England's indie outfit The Duke Spirit.

In November the band will embark on an arena tour with Germany's top-selling artist Ich+Ich, which will showcase them to an audience of an estimated 60 thousand people.

The band has just spent a few days at Wong Studio in Berlin to record "Wide Asleep", an all-acoustic 7-track EP which will be exclusively sold during the tour with Ich+Ich. Apart from acoustic interpretations of songs of the forthcoming album, the EP also features a number of new tracks.
