Born in Ivanhoe Victoria, 4th generation Australian, my family heritage has been traced back to Scotland via Island Of Man.

I thrive on experience and challengers that present an opportunity to stretch my comfort zone (especially with regard photography).

I originally studied and worked in technology industries such as, electronics engineering, computer engineering and computer security engineering / manufacture. After a high tech and low inter-person contact style of work, I changed to some low tech and very personal style work.

After a few years of working to pay the mortgage, I chose to go to Bible College and focus my life more outside of my own needs.

I have been working with the Department of Child Protection (DCP) as a “long term care giver” for a while now. This has enabled me to change my interest in Photography from a hobby, into a passion and now into a business. My background gives me a unique perspective into the lives of children and the people around them.

Two sides of my thinking (logical and emotional) are combined into the images that I’ve shared here.

My attitude is that cameras and computers just capture and present them to the world. So without me putting anything of myself into an image, there would be no point to me sharing.

I respect the opinions of those that take the time to leave comments and look to this feedback to see what people want with regard to images.

I was given the honer of winning a photo competition with the Kwinana City Council for their 2009 Calendar.
