I've always been fascinated with wildlife, a passion passed on by my Granddad who was the master of the narrow country lanes in his Mini, getting us into all sort of places off the beaten track.

I feel privileged now to own a nice camera and large lens so take every opportunity I can to record the birds and wildlife whether that be in our garden or out exploring new places with my lovely wife Debbie and Lucy our rescued dog.

I'm in my 40's now, mid life crisis beckons but at least I'll have the natural world to keep me sane!
