I’m a print designer from Ferndale, Michigan, an area better known as Metro Detroit. I love print design because you can hold, feel, and smell the ink of the end product. Outside of design, I appreciate a fine glass of bubbly, an occasional culinary experiment and I’m the proud kitten mother of Mylo and Zoey and puppy mother of Ozzy.

I have a casual style and my doodles have become autobiographical. I tend to draw things I like, so beef, olives, records and cute animal, are common themes.

My pen touches paper in random moments of inspiration that can’t be predicted, although seeing cute doodles usually helps. My doodles are born on notebook pages and paper scraps, and then the chosen few get scanned and colored. Despite the bright colors, and the occasional straight line, casual is key. An idea for Bigfoot may evolve into a cute fuzzy monster that may not actually exist. Since their discovery, my now not-so-secret doodles have appeared on a variety of printed materials.
