I am a long time 35mm photographer with medium format tastes. In July 2006 I replaced my Canon EOS-3 with a 5D. So far the 5D has been an immensely satisfying camera. Just the ability to get a crisp 8x10 print shot at speeds faster than ISO 100 has changed my outlook on photography. Beyond that, with good technique I am now creating satisfying prints at sizes as large as 20x30.

The new camera has inspired me in to create art with the camera in a way I haven't in many years. Much of what I am posting on Flicker are my explorations into the new world of digital photography both as a tool to record my experience and also as a door into a world that always seemed out of reach when I was shooting 35mm film.
