Update: I've been on hiatus from photography for nearly four and a half years, focusing more on living and loving in Denver. I still have ideas in my mind, but they've been on the backburner for some time.

I graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in philosophy and journalism. After working as a music journalist for three years and founding and managing a multicultural magazine, I moved to Denver, CO. I am currently doing freelance photography and creative writing. I shoot mostly with a measly 3.2 megapixel Olympus 740UZ. My only formal training in photography was one digital photojournalism class. Other than that, I've been training myself and learning from experience and others how to better create the images I'm constantly imagining in my mind. I'm a big advocate of constructive criticism, so I hope Flickr will be a great opportunity for me to share my growth with others and learn.
