  "Well Lin this is the time before the year is over. Testimonial is a bit formal for me but here it goes. I have been an outsider looking in as most people do with flickr. But the magnetic draw I had to Lin's site started about a year ago? I was interacting on my cousin's site (Flint Hill) when I notice the responses he was getting were from many artist(watercolor). I was drawn to Lin's true calling as a artist and writer. You can't beat these two combinations when Lin is involved. I kept reviewing the stories and art as fast as I COULD! I was so inspired by her encouragement to try watercolor for the first time. She is a great example of never giving up. She has persevere in her art form for 4 years and it shows. She waves the banner of support for any one that is making an effort to conquer watercolor techniques. Perhaps conquer is a strong word here, yet for me I have excitement to try watercolor due to Lin. She has inspired me, with layers and layers of insight in approaching this art. A busy lady to say the least but has time for many out there in flickr land. She has had a challenging year, yet she gives in her stories and art to brighten the day. So here it is in a nut shell take the time to smell the roses(art/stories) with Lin and your day will never be the same."

We first became acquainted through our mutual love of art, especially watercolour, and our friendship has blossomed enormously since then to encompass many other areas.   "To write about Lin is very hard. She has too many good attributes to describe in a few lines here. She is one of the most wonderful things that happened to me here on Flickr. She is such a prolific artist, is always learning new techniques. Has a genuine desire to succeed and will not let anything get in her way of achieving her ultimate goal. Yet, she still finds time to comment on other peoples work. She writes many considerate e-mails when people are in need and has a deep down love of mankind.
  During the time I have known I have seen her progress to a stage were her art is very desirable, full of life (like she is), and worthy of being hung. She has been a shoulder to lean on, and the person to make me laugh. I love Lin for being Lin and I hope we will always be friends and I am looking forward to hearing about her first gallery exhibition."
