katenadine says:
"I once told David that "digital toys should come with you" - because having him around is like having a Super Manual that shows you all the cool stuff, how to use it, and how to get creative.
David is a remarkable person; as well as being an awesome photographer, he is one of the most generous people I've ever met - generous with his time, his knowledge and his friendship. He is a born teacher, and loves to help people get the most out of their talent (and their equipment!)
Thank you, David, for all of your help and encouragement, and keep up the fabulous work! :-D"23rd February, 2007

Rasmus Rasmussen says:
"David's work makes go 'oooh' and 'woooaa' over and over. He is extremely talented and does people as well as the more technical types of photography - a quality I secretly envy. But I can't hold it against the guy, because David is one of the nicest people I have met in a long time, always willing to share his experiences. This is one cool dude."

"The unmitigated ferocity of David's intellect and creativity is matched only by his unselfish willingness to share both in generous and welcome quantities. Plus he's just an all-around good guy."

Reini68 says:
"David drew my attention to him, with his very helpful comments in WEEKLY. This was because he took really a lot of time to look at pictures and to point out the important things in them.
Being a gifted photographer himself he tries to share his knowledge with others.
In his photography he is doing a lot of experimentation. Some of it works for me, some doesn't - but that isn't the point. He tries it, and this is important. We would still live in caves, if there weren't those who were ready to experiment, risking to fail, but after all succeeding.
More than being very creative he is a hard worker. David never is satisfied with a good shot, he wants to improve it. This is the third important part of what I can say about him. Never being contented with what he reached, but pushing the borders still further. This is what real discoverers are made of."20th April, 2006
