Originally from Scotland, I've lived in lots of places in the UK and now live in London. Like most ex-pats I try to get 'home' when I can and there are quite a few Scots photos in my stream. In Scotland I've mostly lived in Dumfries, Annan and for a long time in St Andrews.
If I favourite your photo of St Andrews Castle it's probably because I once worked in the Visitor Centre there!
I also love Wales, Cornwall and parts of Spain. If it's got a fishing harbour, old fashioned houses and an interesting quayside I'm there! Medieval towns & villages are also a bit of an obsession.

I teach in further education, working mostly with teaching assistants and other school staff. I also write articles for various on and off line publications.
I'm interested in blogs, wikis and social software in educational professional development, both formal and informal.
