My husband and myself are nature- lovers and like to travel around places in the world. Our interests include capturing natural landscapes, flowers, animals and visiting other cultures.
Hong Kong is our home, though we spent quite a long time in Australia.
I am an amateur in photography

We had been using different digital cameras - Olympus, Pentax, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Fuji and recently Nikon.

My uncle loved photography and before he left this world, he gave me several Carl Zeiss lenses as gifts. The lenses are superb, but are antiques in the digital world.

However, he told me : one needed a decent camera in order to capture a beautiful shot but not necessary an expensive one.....
He told me the real spirit of photography is LOVE and PASSION, then came your ability to master the light, develop your creativity................... your style.

I was much influenced by my uncle and I follow much of his style.
I do love to capture 'the micro world' like flowers close - ups but at the same time I would like to express my feelings through pictures of macro (not the photography macro) world. Thus I also like to capture landscapes and the wide nature in which we live IN.
In this mind - set I feel more balance and this is my philosophy of life.

I learned a lot since joining Flickr and from my contacts.
Everyone is unique and everyone is my teacher including you who is reading my profile.
