I am the very proud new owner of a Nikon D40 (her name is Shirley) and am completely in love. :) Previously I photographed everything with a Canon S3 IS (Laverne), which I still have and plan on keeping.

I love shooting nature, just being out for a walk through the park makes my soul happy. I'm trying to get into a little more of the urban stuff too. I am always seeing little bits and pieces of everyday life that intrigue me.

I believe life should be fun. Everyone needs to stop and take a look around at what is really important. Photography has really taught me to slow down and notice life's little details that we so often miss rushing through our daily lives.
