First things first, the basics. My name is Amanda and photography is my hobby...just one of the few. I use an Olympus E-510 DSLR, packaged lens. Believe it or not, it took me over a year to invest in a tripod, and now it's my best friend. :) I carry it in my vehicle and ALWAYS look forward to a clear evening for a night of fixed tripod astrophotography. I also enjoy wearing hard hats in severe weather ;)
I used to shoot film: A few of my favorite moments were caputred on film.
If I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually working, sleeping, sewing, listening to music, driving, or biting my fingernails.
