I live in upstate, NY. Not White Plains... keep going! We're almost smack in the middle of the state, just south of the Adirondacks. I like spending time with my family, and photography. I've been a camera buff since I was a kid with a little Kodak 110 pocket camera. I'm been shooting seriously with an SLR since 1995, and I've been digital since 2003.

My first digital SLR was a Canon 10D, which I still have and use for dusty environments, like a motocross track. I have a Canon 20D, and have recently obtained a 40D. I'm also finding that Canon's Powershot S5 is a very useful camera. It has limitations compared to the DSLR's, but it's small, handy to keep with you at all times, and it takes pretty good photos (as long as there is enough light). You'll see a growing number of photos in my stream taken with this camera. On my SLR's, I use a variety of lenses, but my current "Go To" lens is a Sigma 24-70 f2.8. It can't be beat for sharpness, but it's pretty heavy.
