Photography-shooting for me, apart of many other things, is like a kind of meditation: you must put your full atention in that moment, empty your mind of other thoughts, pay full attention in what you're doing, setting up the camera, searching the light, looking for the best framing... then breathing, holding your breath for a moment while your finger shoots... Using Cartier-Bresson words again, thinking should be done before and after, not during photographing.
That's one of the main reasons why I love it.

And discovering flickr has been such an amazing experience... a place to share this madness about photography, to get inspired by the talented people you can meet here, to enjoy and learn from each and every fantastic photo you made, to find crazy people that, like me, can be down on their knees and head on the floor just to get the perfect point of view for that photo without thinking what will think all the "normal" people around :-))) ... and to collect the most beautiful set of contacts I ever dreamed ;-)

About Contacts

If you added me as contact because you like my work and want to keep an eye on it, I'm honored and thank you very much. But I don't collect contacts. I usually add someone as a contact when I admire his/her work and after I've seen there's some kind of connection between us, and this needs some time of mutual feedback. So don't be offended if I don't add you immediately when you add me as contact.
I proceed that carefully because I don't want to end with hundreds of contacts: my time is limited and I couldn't be a good contact then, because I prefer to be an active contact and give constructive comments rather than jumping from one photostream to another leaving "beautifuls" everywere.

But if you leave some comment on my pics I will always try to reciprocate.

And talking about constructive comments... please feel free to tell me what do you really think about a picture.... constructive criticism makes me see my work from your eyes, and that is a good and necessary thing to grow up as a photographer.

Maybe is time to add this part... PLEASE NOTE THAT:

If you fave/comment my pics/add contact without saying a word, and you don't have nothing available to me (or anyone else) to view, or if you have questionable content in your photostream or you just have a few pics uploaded months/years ago and a ton on favorites, then I probably will use the blocking tool with you. For me flickr is a place to share, if you don't share we're not playing the same game, so goodbye. Sorry.

Obiously if you are a spammer you will get blocked at the moment.
