A lover of colour and everything visual my whole life, I first got serious about taking pictures back in 2000. Several cameras later, I'm now starting to learn more about digital post production and all the great stuff you can do.
I enjoy the creativity that photography brings. Seeking the extraordinary in the ordinary is what I'm into, bringing out the beauty of small things around me as well as showcasing the exciting, mad bits of my life puts it all into perspective.
This year I'm doing a 365 Project with the aim of getting myself out there taking more pictures, broadening my photographic horizons and developing my technical know-how. I think everyone has subjects they love and tend to gravitate towards (mine are flowers & nature) so I'd like to move out of my comfort zone and start finding and 'seeing' new things to shoot, especially in urban settings.
Sharing my work on my blog and on Flickr seems a pretty good way to motivate myself and learn from others - there's some really good stuff out there!
