I'm Marshall Astor. I am gainfully employed as the Visual Arts Director at the Angels Gate Cultural Center, live in San Pedro, used to run Walled City . a gallery in San Pedro with a focus on experimental projects and installation art.
Occasionally I get to make art of my own, and I tend to focus on conceptual projects that are usually sculpture based. I spend so much time working with and looking at other people's art that it's hard for me to focus on my own work.
When I'm not doing something art related, I try to spend as much time as possible cycling, practicing naginata and kyudo, and of course, taking lots of pictures with my trusty Nikon D70.
