Kim Thonn been building custom homes for over 20 years and has handled an array of home building responsibilities from sales & customer service to field and construction managing.

In 2005, she franchised EPCON Communities in the Greater Lafayette area to bring the 80 home community, Ravenswood at Hickory Ridge, to Lafayette.

Due to Ravenswood great success and with much support from the community, Kim began development on a 92 home community, The Villas at Stonebridge, in West Lafayette.

A local resident and small business owner herself, Kim's priority is to provide customers a finely-tuned, detail-oriented, custom home building experienced by using local vendors and workmanship as often as possible.

This is also part of a larger commitment she has made to building homes that are not only 100% Energy Star Certified, but are part of a community that values open, green space and responsible planning & development.

Kim is a Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging in Place Specialist with the National Association of Home Builders and employs that expertise in each home built.

Kalan Homes is made up of Kim, Builder & Developer; Jason Hardebeck, Construction Superintendent; Crystal Deiwert, Sales Consultant; Tammy Sorensen, Sales Consultant; Dianne Keck, Marketing Coordinator.
