A California girl transplanted to Florida....that's me!
I've lived most my life in southern California...camping in the mountains and redwoods, playing at the beaches, raising my family.

Several years ago, hubby's job whisked us to the east coast...the kids are in grad school, so its just the two of us here...exploring this new world of ours.

For years I taught a fine arts program for elementary schools in California and decided with the cross-country move it was a perfect time for me to get back to my own artistic ventures.

I originally wanted a camera in order to take photos to use as subjects for paintings. But.... the gift of a digital SLR one Christmas started me taking photos and then I was hooked!

Florida has beautiful sunsets and wildlife everywhere you look and there's the whole east coast to explore, and we're doing our best to explore every inch!
