I'm a crafty gal who loves to create stuff. Whether it's making jewelry, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, making cards or taking photographs—I love it all! I try to do something creative every day.

LIKES:
• My favorite color: blue (especially turquoise & aqua)
I also like lime green, fuchsia, orange, brown, gray and black.
Favorite color combos: aqua & red, blue & orange, blue & brown, blue & gray, fuchsia & lime green, blue & lime green, fuchsia & brown, and even all of these colors together

• Quilt blocks: Triangles, wonky stars (and other types of stars), wonky houses, Dresden Plates, cathedral windows, words/letters, string quilts, log cabins (wonky and regular), hexagons, appliqué, flying geese, crosses, tumbling blocks, embroidery, Gee's Bend-style blocks, baskets and wonky baskets, cute paper-pieced objects (Japanese-style)

• Fabrics: bright colors and modern prints, but also whimsical Japanese imports and bright, retro '30s-style feedsack-type prints

• Cats: Especially orange and tortoiseshell tabbies

DISLIKES:
• Colors: purple, bright neon yellow, really dark, pale, drab or muted colors

• Sunbonnet Sue or other cutesy-type stuff (There's nothing wrong with it; it's just not me.)

• Juvenile or novelty prints that are too cutesy (like for babies or grandmothers)
