I am relatively new at photography and very new and somewhat inexperienced at digital photography -- but I enjoy it a lot. I like to take photos of nature and inanimate objects; you'll seldom see a human being in my pictures.
I learned mostly by doing, with a lot of help from my photographer girlfriend, who has set me up with my cameras (Pentax). I took classes in Miksang, which is based on Buddhist philosophy and Japanese aesthetics, and I try to use those ideas in my photography as much as I can.
