My name is Jack. I'm a photography enthusiast just like you. I have been shooting digital since 2006, but also shot film about 15 years ago.
I use photography as a creative release. I like to create something that recreates the same feeling the scene gave me when I was there taking it. This might not result in a truly accurate depiction since I lean more on the artistic side of photography rather than the documentary side.
I don't get much out of Flickr anymore. It used to be great a number of years ago, but sadly it's disintegrated to what you see today: artistic attention deficit.
