Lenneke Wispelwey was born 17-07-1979 in Lochem. She grew up in Huissen in the east of the Netherlands. After a different study and working for 3 years she quit her fulltime job and went chasing her dream at ArtEZ, The Arnhem Institute for the Arts, Product Design. In 2008 she graduated with a collection porcelain called "de zoete inval". One month later she started her own designstudio in Arnhem. She loves working with ceramics, but also combined with other materials. She feels her work should make people smile and give them a good feeling. This is what she also tries to accomplisch in her styling work.
